Cap on Fees and Costs to Complete a Complex Divorce

Based on information you provide, Parting Properly will determine the anticipated number of hours of consultation, mediation, and mentoring your divorce will take, and what the hourly rate, fees and costs will be.  Parting Properly will also determine the retainer to be charged to begin the process.

Parting Properly will then guarantee a maximum amount (cap) that will be charged to complete your divorce, including all legal document assistance and court fees, regardless of the actual fees and costs incurred.

A retainer for a portion of the guaranteed maximum amount will be required. If the total fees and costs to complete your divorce exceed the retainer, the additional amount, up to, but not greater than the guaranteed maximum amount, will be billed to you. If the total fees and costs to complete your divorce are less than the retainer, the excess amount will be refunded to you.  Court filing fees are not included.
